Futronic FS88HS USB2.0 PIV Fingerprint Smart Card Reader Description

A fingerprint scanner and smart card reader can be integrated to enable two-factor authentication. In this setup, a registered fingerprint is securely stored on a smart card carried by the user. During authentication, the smart card is read by a PC, and the stored fingerprint is matched with a freshly captured fingerprint from the scanner. This process can be seamlessly implemented using Futronic’s Fingerprint Recognition Software Development Kit (SDK).
